There's no one Cortisol Fix. There are four.

Cortisol out of control doesn't look the same in every woman. Wired at night. Up at 3 am. Crashing at 3 pm. Completely burned out. Each one needs a different fix, and the wrong one can make yours worse.

The advice that helps one pattern hurts another. Carbs at dinner can calm one woman down and wake another up at 3 am. That’s why generic cortisol tips keep failing you.

Which one are you?

4 patterns. 4 different fixes.

Read all four. Most women know theirs in about 5 seconds.

PATTERN 1

The Wired Night Owl

Exhausted all day. Wide awake at 10 pm.

THIS IS YOU IF

  • You drag all morning and need coffee to function
  • You get a second wind at night
  • You lie in bed scrolling, unable to shut off

Your fix starts at night: moving carbs to dinner, a caffeine cutoff and a real wind-down.

PATTERN 2

The 3 AM Waker

Falls asleep fine. Wide awake at 3 am.

THIS IS YOU IF

  • You wake between 2 and 4 am almost every night
  • Your mind races and you can't fall back asleep
  • Night sweats or a glass of wine make it worse

Your fix is overnight blood sugar: how you build dinner, what you eat before bed, and cutting alcohol.

PATTERN 3

The Afternoon Crasher

Hits a wall at 3 pm and reaches for sugar.

THIS IS YOU IF

  • Coffee comes before breakfast, if breakfast happens at all
  • You crash mid-afternoon and crave sugar or salt
  • You overeat at night to make up for the day

Your fix starts at breakfast: a protein-first morning, coffee after food, and a planned afternoon snack.

PATTERN 4

Running on Empty

Burned out. Everything feels hard.

THIS IS YOU IF

  • Your workouts drain you instead of energize you
  • You're holding weight no matter how hard you try
  • You're getting sick more and your mood feels flat

Your fix is less load: eating more, pausing HIIT and putting recovery first. This was me.

Not sure which one you are?

Answer 4 quick questions.

Pick the answer that sounds most like you.

1. When is your energy worst?
2. What does your night look like?
3. How do workouts leave you?
4. Which sounds most like your week?

This quiz helps you explore everyday stress patterns. It does not measure cortisol or diagnose any condition.

Why I made this

This past year was the worst of my life for my sleep, my cortisol and my hormones. Anxiety. Burnout. Night sweats. I run a fitness company, and I still didn’t have the answers.

When it started, I was in the red every single day. Today I’m green most days. This guide is everything I wish I’d known.
