Acceso Carrito

Free 3-day plan from Amanda Tress

Carbs aren't canceled. You're just eating them wrong.

Cutting them forever keeps you stuck. Eating them all day keeps you stuck. The answer is in the middle: when you eat, how you cycle your carbs and what you pair them with. And it looks different depending on which one you are.

Which one sounds like you?

The truth about carbs after 35

Too few keeps you stuck. So do too many.

Carbs fuel your workouts. The question was never whether to eat them. It's how much, when and with what.

TOO FEW, EVERY DAY

The empty tank

  • Flat, heavy workouts
  • Wired at night, poor sleep
  • Cravings that win by Friday
  • Progress stalls

TOO MANY, ALL DAY

The roller coaster

  • Hungry an hour after eating
  • The 3 pm crash
  • Grazing and snacking
  • Progress stalls

THE FASTER WAY

The middle

  • Eat in a window, 12 to 16 hours
  • Low carb Tuesday and Thursday
  • Carbs every other day
  • Protein first, carbs never alone

Pick your edition

Same method. Three different starting points.

The plan works the same for everyone. What gets in your way is different, so your rules are too.

EDITION 1

The Carb Avoider

"Low carb for years and still stuck."

THIS IS YOU IF

  • You've done keto or "basically keto" for years
  • Your workouts feel flat and heavy
  • Eating carbs feels scary

Your rule: low carb is 2 days, not 7. Bringing carbs back is how you get unstuck.

EDITION 2

The Carb Lover

"Bread, pasta, snacks. Can't stop."

THIS IS YOU IF

  • Your day is toast, crackers, pasta, repeat
  • You crash at 3 pm and crave sugar at night
  • You don't want to give carbs up

Your rule: protein first and never carbs alone. You keep your carbs. You just time them.

EDITION 3

The Yo-Yo

"Strict Monday. Off the rails by Friday."

THIS IS YOU IF

  • You start over every Monday
  • You're either "on" or totally off
  • Weekends undo your week

Your rule: plan your low days and eat enough on the rest. A plan you can't fall off.

"Low carb wrecks your hormones."

Low carb every day is the problem.

Two low-carb days a week, Tuesday and Thursday, is fine for most women, including in perimenopause. What causes problems is cutting carbs every day, for months, while under-eating and over-training. That isn't carb cycling. It's chronic restriction. Your guide explains the difference, and what to do if your body is telling you it's too low.

Why I made this

Carbs were never the enemy.

Most women I talk to are on one side or the other. Afraid of carbs since keto, or living on them and feeling guilty about it. Both keep you stuck.

At the FASTer Way, we do the middle. We eat in a window, we cycle our carbs and we put protein first. This plan shows you exactly what that looks like for 3 days, built for where you're starting.
